This course is designed to provide an overview of U.S. Export Controls and Sanctions. Developed by former officials from the U.S. Departments of Commerce and Defense, this course provides the basic building blocks for beginners to the career field of compliance with export controls and sanctions.
The U.S. End-Use Monitoring and End-Use Check Fundamentals training program was created by former officials of the Bureau of Industry and Security (“BIS”), U.S. Department of Commerce, who conducted and led the global U.S. end-use monitoring program administered by BIS. The course is designed to teach industry about U.S. end-use checks, how to successfully prepare for and complete Post-Shipment Verification (PSVs) and Pre-License Checks (PLCs), and how to minimize further risk of enforcement scrutiny.
There are circumstances where a non-U.S. origin item located outside the U.S. can still be subject to the Export Administration Regulations. One such circumstance is if the items are captured under one of the U.S. Foreign Direct Product Rules. This course will provide an overview of all the existing FDPRs as well as advice to ensure compliance.
This course will provide you with a strong understanding of the 10 General Prohibitions of the U.S. Export Administration Regulations. Having a good understanding of these 10 general prohibitions is crucial for several reasons, particularly if your activities involve the export, reexport, or transfer of goods, technology, or software that are subject to U.S. export controls. A strong knowledge of these prohibitions will help ensure your organization remains compliant and avoids any penalties for violations of any of these requirements.
The Introduction to U.S. Government Blacklists training course is designed to teach learners about every blacklist used by the government of the United States to influence global trade, geopolitics, and diplomatic relations. The course was developed by former government officials.
This course's objectives are to develop an understanding of the BIS Entity List, the 50 Percent Rule and its implications for industry, how the 50 Percent Rule impacts entities on the Entity and Military End-User lists, how the rule aligns with existing Office of Foreign Assets Control standards, due diligence requirements, and other implications.
