Welcome to the International Sanctions and Export Control Society ("ISECS"), the only Public Benefit Company in the world dedicated to helping industry enhance compliance with international sanctions and export controls. ISECS' worldwide network is a collaboration between a diverse group of industry leaders, current and former government regulatory and enforcement officials, attorneys, and experienced compliance professionals.
The International Sanctions and Export Control Society ("ISECS") will welcome ISECS Ambassador to the Netherlands, Stephanie Broekaart and Yvo Amar, Partners, Agorax Law Firm to discuss Internal Compliance Programs ("ICPs") with former officials of the Bureau of Industry and Security ("BIS"), U.S. Department of Commerce and ISECS founders, Tom Andrukonis and Steve Wilcox of Export Controls and Sanctions Advisors. From a regulatory, enforcement and industry perspective, Stephanie, Yvo, Tom and Steve will discuss whether 1) are ICPs required, 2) ICPs are needed, and 3) the nuances of developing and implementing effective ICPs.
ISECS is pleased to announce its second annual Pre-BIS Update Conference Social Event. This event has proven to become the place to be on the evening before BIS's annual conference. Members of industry from around the world are afforded the ability to network with each other and with officials from multiple governments.

The headquarters offices of the International Sanctions and Export Control Society ("ISECS") are based in Washington, D.C. ISECS' global reach and effectiveness are largely based on a robust international network and through the leadership of each ISECS country chapter. Through ISECS Regional (trustees) and Country Chapter Ambassadors, members and the greater ISECS community, have direct access to local governments, international expertise, and other industry connections. The ISECS continues to grow with existing, and prospective new chapters emerging throughout regions of the United States, EMEA, Asia and Latin America. One global and comprehensive membership provides members with access to all chapters, in all geographies.
