International Sanctions and Export Control Society

The International Sanctions and Export Control Society ("ISECS") is the only Public Benefit Company in the world dedicated to helping industry enhance compliance with international sanctions and export controls. ISECS' worldwide network is a collaboration between a diverse group of industry leaders, current and former government regulatory and enforcement officials, attorneys, and experienced compliance professionals.

The ISECS-Certified Sanctions and Export Control Professional (CSECP) certification program is a collaborative effort between former international government officials (regulatory, enforcement, and national security), trade compliance lawyers, and industry professionals from multinational companies to create a unique, one-of-a-kind, industry standard for professional certifications.

The U.S. Country Specific Sanctions Certification Course is intended for financial institutions and companies that are conducting trade with the U.S., with U.S. items, or in U.S. dollars.
This course provides a foundational understanding of the specific sanctions the Government of the United States has imposed on twenty-four (24) countries around the world.
This course includes explanations on the focus and purpose of the sanctions, the pertinent codes of federal regulations, federal statutes, and executive orders governing the implementation and regulation of the sanctions. It further includes instruction on the general licenses, authorized and prohibited activities, and key takeaways related to each country.
In this interview, Bill Holler shares insights drawn from a career spanning aerospace leadership, international standardization, and technology‑focused entrepreneurship. As a founding member of ISECS in Germany and the newly appointed ISECS Ambassador for Munich, Holler discusses the practical impact of export controls and sanctions on the aerospace industry, emphasizing their role as strategic business considerations rather than administrative afterthoughts. He explores how dual‑use technologies, geopolitical developments, and emerging tools such as artificial intelligence shape compliance obligations, while highlighting the continuing importance of human judgment and personal accountability. The conversation also addresses sustainability in aerospace, the value of early regulatory awareness, and the responsibility of industry leaders to foster a strong compliance culture in an increasingly complex global environment.
February 11, 2026: From the regions of the International Sanctions and Export Control Society (ISECS), we welcome ISECS Ambassadors to participate in a panel discussion about "Global Events and Geopolitics Driving the Future of Sanctions and Export Controls."

Este grupo de trabajo ofrecerá una plataforma para que los hispanohablantes debatan sobre los controles de exportación y las sanciones que afectan a sus empresas en el mercado internacional.
